I've had a Spyder 4 Pro for about 8 months with a similar setup, Toshiba laptop running Win 7 Premium 64 bit, so I've calibrated and recalibrated at least half a dozen times without the slightest problem. Not much help to you, but I feel your pain. Elie / אלי LOG IN TO REPLY |

Other devices do work out of the same ports too. Thanks for sharing your insight. 5DMkIV, 7DMkII, Canon 85mm f/1.4 IS, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L II IS, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II, Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 OS LOG IN TO REPLY |
CanyoneerCanyoneer 8 posts Joined Feb 2012 | I was reading through this old thread and hoping a good solution would be here at the bottom, but alas it is not to be. My Spyder3 has calibrated this computer at least a dozen times over the last 1.5 or two years and then suddenly it won't recognize the sensor. Deleting and reloading software not helping. Downloading and running a driver installation also of no help. I figure it is karma for stepping on too many ants as a kid......or something like that.....because what else would do this?? The cure was updating the USB driver and finding a USB port on my laptop that was a direct connection and not through an internal hub. Elie / אלי LOG IN TO REPLY |
