1. Take paper and load to the printer, then open Service Tool software.
2. In Clear Ink Counter, Select Absorber > Main > Click Set
3. Wait. Then Close the software. Turn Off printer about 10 seconds and Turn on to use, the printer ready to print.

Clear Ink Counter Main and Platen

1. Like the steps above, then ink clear ink counter, select Platen.
2. Close the software.
3. Restart the printer to use.

Reset Ink Absorber Value Main

1. Open the Programs by double clicking.
2. In Ink Absorber Counter, select Absorber > Main, Counter Value > 0 > then Click Set
3. Close the program, restart your printer to use.

Reset Ink Absorber Value Main&Platen

1. Open the software
2. In Ink Absorber Counter > Select Main&Platen
3. Set Counter Value to 0 > Click Set
4. Close the software
5. Restart your Canon printer

Generally, Canon resetter programs have similar resetting procedure except for some models. So that successful resetting canon printers using service tool all file attributes of software resetter should not be read only and don’t run the software from CD. There are two version of general tool for canon printer that is with lock release button and do not have Lock Release button.

For resetter with Lock Release button (found inside the executable file)

1. Run generaltool.exe or the application or executable file.
2. Select USB port of the printer to be reset.
3. Click lock release button.
4. IN Select Destination option, select the printer model.
5. In Test Print option, select EEPROM clear.
6. Prepare a paper and then click test pattern 1 under Test Print option.
7. Turn off the printer and turn on again.

For resetter which do not have Lock Release button

1. Run generaltool.exe or the application or executable file.
2. Select USB port of the printer to be reset.
3. In Select Destination option, select the printer model.
4. In Test Print option, select EEPROM clear.
5. Prepare a paper and then click test pattern 1 under Test Print option.
6. finish it

   1.Start with printer off
   2.Press and hold resume Button (triangle in the circle) and click “Power” button. green led should be on
   3.While holding the Power button, release the Resume Button.
   4.Without releasing the Power Button, click “Resume” button for two times and release Both Buttons.
   5.Click “Resume” for four times then soon click “Power” button, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber).
   6.Turn off the printer and turn on again

   but in some times desapearce and other times appearce, Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. its might be the paper sensor if not try to check tha pump some times the hose that is in there is crampled cuasing/stoping the gears to move which may indicate jump errors.
